Marika Meyer is the founder and creative director of the award-winning boutique interior design firm, Marika Meyer Studio, acclaimed for colorfully classic full-service design projects primarily on the east coast, from Washington DC to Maine.

Marika’s unique background and education in both fine arts and finance sets the standard for the highest level of project management and an elevated design approach that distinguishes Marika Meyer Studio projects. With an early career in financial services, Marika brings a strategic approach to every project -- this business savvy has cultivated valuable trade relationships based on trust and accountability. Interior design has always been in Marika’s blood, she is the granddaughter of Marika Moore Aires, a decorator in Washington DC, and grew up around many artists and artisans, instilling in her an early appreciation for fine art and design.

After graduating from Tulane and working in corporate consulting, Marika felt the calling to return to her artistic roots and went back to school for fine arts and design. After working in interior design and in the antiques market, she founded Marika Meyer Studio in 2007 to early acclaim. Since then, Marika Meyer has been named One to Watch by DC Design Center, and has been featured in Traditional Home, House Beautiful and on the covers of numerous magazines. Beyond the accolades, Marika Meyer is committed to working with integrity, and attributes that approach as the cornerstone to her successful leadership, projects and relationships with trusted trade partners and clients.
